I am not currently accepting any new commissions (sorry!)

PRINTS

All of my recreations are printed onto archival matte paper using the giclée inkjet printing method, meaning you get a beautiful print that will last a lifetime (up to 100 years)! Giclée (pronounced jhee-clay) means to spray, and giclée printing is just that— a high-quality printer ‘spraying’ ink onto archival paper to create a detailed recreation of an original artwork. The painting is first professionally scanned and colour checked before giclée printing begins to ensure that the print is accurate to the real painting.

If you are interested in purchasing a print made on a stretched canvas rather than the archival paper, just send me an email at kwasnickikatie@gmail.com and we can discuss having one made specially for you! Please note that as I do not have canvas prints in stock and ready to go, they will be made to order and will take longer to ship. Canvas prints are also more expensive to produce than prints on paper.

PACKAGING

Prints in sizes 10x12” and under will arrive to you in compostable mailers, backed with recycled rigid chipboard to prevent any bending during shipping. I do have to use clear plastic sleeves to protect your print from any possible weather damage in transit (I have yet to find a compostable version that works) but these can be recycled with other soft plastics, or reused as storage bags!

Prints in sizes larger than 10x12” will be shipped in rigid cardboard tubes, protected from moisture inside of the same clear plastic sleeves as the smaller prints.

Original paintings will be shipped to you inside two layers of cardboard boxing and protected with bubble wrap made from recycled materials.

Eco-friendly shipping materials are a little more expensive (and a lot tougher to find), but it’s important to me that I do all I can to reduce my impact on our environment. I will continue to work on finding more suitable, sustainable options for every part of my packaging.

All orders are prepared and packaged by me in my home in Vancouver, and I’ll always do my best to get your order to you as quickly as is possible for me!

SHIPPING

If you live in Vancouver, feel free to reach out to me and we can arrange a local pick up or delivery for free :). Please send me an email or a direct message through Instagram to arrange this instead of ordering through my website if you would prefer this method.

Canadian orders: $8

International orders: $15. Many countries may charge duties and customs fees on items that are imported internationally. Unfortunately, I do not have control over these charges and I cannot anticipate how much they may be, so there is a chance you will have to pay a fee to your local border authorities when your package arrives in your country.

Your tracking number will be emailed to you as soon as your order has shipped!

RETURNS

If you should need to return your purchase, it must be done within 30 days of the shipping date, and the product must be sent back to me in the same condition and packaging that you received it in. I cannot refund you for shipping costs, so if your order is successfully returned, the shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Please contact me through email if you need to process a return, or if you have any other issues with your purchase. You can also contact me before purchasing something if you want to clarify anything about the paintings/prints to (hopefully) avoid returns entirely!

Have other questions? Please don’t hesitate to send me an email at kwasnickikatie@gmail.com and I will do everything I can to answer them for you :)
